It was so much fun. Follow the instructions on the can, and you'll be thrilled. We made a dozen large chocolate-covered strawberries first, and there was a bunch left over so we moved on to banana slices and baby carrots. Next time we're going to try some raisins and mixed nuts. My wife wouldn't let me make chocolate-covered bacon, so I'll have to do that while she's out of town. Great product.  DELICIOUS NIGHTMARE!, March 5, 2013 This review is from: Saco Dolci Frutta Hard Chocolate Shell for Fruit, Chocolate, 8-Ounce Canisters (Pack of 12) (Grocery) This is a DELICIOUS NIGHTMARE! The taste of the chocolate is delicious but it is a nightmare to heat perfectly. If you are looking for the kind of chocolate like the chocolate fountains, this is NOT it! Therefore it is NOT fun for adults and especially NOT fun for kids because of the way the chocolate hardens too quickly and you can NOT eat it right away because you have to wait until it hardens. That is if you got the chocolate melted perfectly to begin with! Also makes a big fat mess! I would NOT recommend this dessert if you have guests because it is rather stressful to get it right and make it look nice. I do have to say it is delicious chocolate and ok if you are not going to care if it's lumpy or messy. Next time I will be getting the kind that is like the one with the chocolate fountain.  chocolate dipping product, February 1, 2013 This review is from: Saco Dolci Frutta Hard Chocolate Shell for Fruit, Chocolate, 8-Ounce Canisters (Pack of 12) (Grocery) This item is hard to find in the grocery stores and is perfect for dipping fruit (strawberries, pineapple, apples, grapes) The chocolate hardens after dipping in about 30 minutes.
