Product Description

Baby gear and bed all in one. This compact bag and bed is perfect for overnights with the grandparents, a nap at the park or beach, gear for the parents and baby, a toy bin, and more. The nest travels well and will fit in the overhead bin of an airplane. One side is spacious storage bag and the other side unzips a pop-up bassinet.

We purchased the Phil & Teds Nest travel bassinet for our daughter, who is currently 3.5 months old and weighs about 13 lbs. We just used it for the first time last week, for 3 days away from home, and plan to use it again at least 2 more times in the near future.

Basically, the Travel Nest is a collapsible bassinet that stores in its own separate compartment on the bottom of the included duffle bag, and the top compartment of the duffle bag can be used to pack other stuff, such as clothing, diapers, etc. When in use, the bassinet portion is removed from the storage duffle completely.

Here are the pros and cons we have found so far:

Pros:
-reasonably portable; definitely much lighter and easier to manage than a pack-and-play type thing
-very easy to set up and break down

I purchased the nest primarily to use as a Carry-on for air travel. It is advertised to be used for this, however, as I planned for our first trip I was shocked to realize that the dimensions are too large for the Carry-on allowance (under 45 inches in total dimension). Needless to say the bed is great for car trips and we loved it, but don't buy it expecting to take it on the plane with you.

bought this for our daughter and are using it as her full-time bassinet. it's great, and love the fact that it's super-portable. when we travel, we just use the bag & bed -- the bed zips into the bottom, and all her stuff for the trip fits in the bag. traveling with a baby is no fun, but this helps make it bearable. not sure how long it will last -- i think the packaging says 9 months, and i hope it works for that long.

On the search for the *perfect* diaper bag that was fashionable AND not too pricey, I came across this one; after trying M-A-N-Y. It has a VERY roomy interior with multiple pockets, a padded changing pad with a front mesh pocket, a detachable bottle tote that's insulated, a clutch with inside zipper and credit card slots (I use it as my *purse* when I'm out and about without the kids), one large exterior back pocket and a large exterior front pocket along with two roomy pockets under the 'flaps'. It also comes with a duster bag. The diaper bag is somewhat large, but not at all bulky. I can fit 6 diapers, wipes, changing pad, nalgene water bottle, 1 bottle, sunglass case, change of clothes, a bib/burp cloth, clutch and formula container with room to spare on the inside, along with some small toys in the zippered interior pocket. I received this bag as a gift from my mom. I love it. I can fit so much stuff in it (diapers, wipes, several bottles, formula holder, change of clothes, my stuff). It comes with a great small wristlet type bag (but you could wear on your shoulder). I got so many compliments on it and it doesn't look like a diaper bag. I also loved the messenger bag strap. I honestly don't know how I would have gotten around as well without one.

I did have a problem with it- the hardware from the messenger bag broke. I called the company. They requested pictures and a receipt. Since it was a gift I didn't have one. They said it wasn't a problem, just email them the pictures. Once I did that, they sent me a label to send back my bag and once they got the tracking information shipped out my brand new bag.

I can't say enough good things about this company and love my bag.

Okay, so I have been determined to find the perfect diaper bag that I can use for years to come as not only a diaper bag, but just a nice bag in general. I have wasted more time on the internet looking at reviews, pictures, videos, catalogs, and anything that was even remotely helpful. I loved the functionality of this bag, but wasn't sure if the look of it was worth the price. I thought it looked just like any other bag, so was it really worth 160 bucks?! I ended up deciding to go with the Myla JJ Cole bag, thinking the look was more what I wanted. When I got it, it felt like plastic, and I was very disappointed. I returned that one and ordered this thinking I would get functionality, but not the look. MAN WAS I WRONG!!! This thing is gorgeous. Our 3 year old demonstrating the treadmill. Then our other child takes his turn. We recently purchased this after buying a new treadmill for us in hopes of keeping her entertained while we worked out. She has spent more time with this thing in one day than any other "toy" we have ever bought. The current "1 star" is correct, the treadmill smells horrible, like a mixture of new rubber and a railroad track (anyone who has ever walked a railroad track will know what that smell is). However, since putting it together, it has dissipated a bit.

The treadmill is very sturdy and it took very little time for our daughter to get the hang of it. Heck, even the 1 year old figured out how to get a few steps in and he has been walking for less than 2 weeks.

I work with preschool children with special needs and bought this to meet the needs of a student who likes to run. From the first day, all of my students wanted to get on it and check it out. It has been wonderful for not only the students I originally bought it for, but I have a number of students who request it on a regular basis to help calm their bodies. This was so much better than I could ever have imagined and the quality is outstanding.
