This has a very rich chocolate flavor, that is much more pronounced than other flavored coffee. You can smell it emanating from the bag before even opening it. In addition, the coffee tastes fresh roasted, has no bitter after taste, and is as rich and flavorful as any regular non decaf brand. In fact, I found this coffee so satisfying that it is sufficient as a dessert just by itself after dinner or for a snack without the effects of caffeine. I highly recommend this product. It has a lovely, smooth flavor. I don't taste the chocolate, or really smell it, but it tastes rich and wonderful to me. I'm stuck with non fat milk for health reasons, and this coffee tastes great with non fat milk and a packet of sugar. The Boyers takes the place of a cup of cocoa for me. It's a gentle, enjoyable experience to drink in the evening. It's in the comfort food category for me. I was worried that if I didn't like it I'd be stuck with three pounds of it, but I'll be happily drinking all of it.
