My only complaint is that it doesn't hold a child greater than 15 pounds, because I LOVE IT and wish that I could use it forever. The wood is very good quality and rich looking. The fabric is soft and beautiful...also gender neutral. The sound machine that comes with it has come in handy. My baby especially likes the womb sounds when trying to fall asleep. The underneath compartment is fine to store blankets and such. It wheels around on my rug easily, or from room to room. The mattress is soft and cushy. We bought it before our daughter was born and used it in our bedroom next to our bed. Assembly was pretty easy, the wheels took a little pounding to get in place. It's very sturdy compared to the cheaper bassinets made with (basically) pvc pipe. We used it until our daughter was four and a half months old.
