This review is from: Labrada Nutrition Lean Body, Ready to Drink Chocolate Ice Cream, 17-Ounce Tetra Pak (Pack of 12) (Health and Beauty) Lean Body Chocolate Ice Cream 17 ounces is fantastic. I love it. I would suggest you drink it ice cold. It does not taste very good warm. Also, air bubbles feel funny...as if there is something in your drink so be aware. I think the taste is excellent. It is filling and the container seems to keep it cold longer. Also, the carbs are low. I moved from EAS Advantedge. It does have high calories but it has more protein, feels fuller, and tastes better. 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful By Amazon Verified Purchase( What's this?) This review is from: Labrada Nutrition Lean Body, Ready to Drink Chocolate Ice Cream, 17-Ounce Tetra Pak (Pack of 12) (Health and Beauty) I am not fond of the chocolate ice cream flavor of this drink. For some reason it tastes kind of watered down and not as creamy as it should be. If you don't like creamy tasting drinks, this may be perfect for you. However, the cookies and cream flavor is absolutely fantastic! Overall, I highly recommend this product in other flavors and you can see my review on the cookies and cream flavor. The 4 stars here is ONLY because of the chocolate flavor. I'm hoping the company will improve on the taste since I love chocolate. Overall, this brand is by far the best in ready to drink products of its kind and I've tried several. Like the other reviewers, I'll note that you want to drink it ice cold. It's gross when lukewarm, delicious when cold. To try and be healthier, I've made half of one of these my daily afternoon snack at work. |

This review is from: Pamela's Wheat Free, Gluten Free Ultra Chocolate Brownie Mix, 16-Ounce Packages (Pack of 6) (Grocery) i have tried 3 pamela's products: the brownie mix, the pancake mix and the bread mix. first the brownies -- best i've ever tasted - i'm addicted to these things! i tried doing the applesauce substituted for oil and i don't recommend that - the brownies were too dry. the oil recipe is definitely the best -- also substituting espresso for water was yummy -- the pancake mix is really good too. i've made the pancakes and the waffles - the waffles are the best i've ever tasted, with or without gluten. my co-worker used the pancake mix as a substitute in a regular recipe that called for all-purpose flour and said it worked great. finally, the bread - my friend made me a loaf of bread in her bread machine and it was pretty good --not dry like most gluten-free products. the only thing was that when i tried to toast it, the bread remains moist - it won't toast! weird...anyway, i recommend all three products and buying them off amazon will save you $1.50 - $2.00 off the package price... These were awesome, moist and chewy, I topped them off with some raspberry jam and was in heaven! These will totally be a staple in my gluten free cupboard! This review is from: Quaker Chewy Granola Bar, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, 8-Count Bars (Pack of 12) (Grocery) These granola bars are the best out there, however, quaker and amazon pulled a fast one on me. I subscribe and save to these because honestly i eat 12 boxes in about a week and a half. However, quaker changed the number of bars in a pack from 10 to now only 8! Same price yet 2 fewer bars per pack. Now with this order I'm basically getting 2 less boxes each time for the same price. Amazon should have at least warned me that my 10-count 12 pack order was now an 8-count 12 pack order and that i would be paying the same price.I guess its back to buying the variety pack at costco with 60 bars, the downside being the dreadful oatmeal raisin bars I am inevitably forced to eat. Actually the oatmeal raisin are pretty good, just not at all compared to the chocolate chip peanut butter. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful By BR "BR" (South Carolina) - See all my reviews This review is from: Quaker Chewy Granola Bar, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, 8-Count Bars (Pack of 12) (Grocery) Thanks Quaker for shorting all the boxes now to 8 count and charging the same price per box. So a 20% price hike!! Amazon, uh you might want to change the picture from the 10 count box. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful By This review is from: Quaker Chewy Granola Bar, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, 8-Count Bars (Pack of 12) (Grocery) These taste great, I was eating them for years. As I said, was. Unfortunately, Quaker is using partially hydrogenated oil (in English, that means trans fats). While they claim 0g Trans Fat, they're rounding down anything below .5 grams. There's no way to know if each bar has .1g or .4g... Quaker won't say. All those .4g add up in a day, as everyone touts "0g trans fat". So, in all, I had to stop eating them. Quaker Simple Harvest bars do not appear to have any trans fats, and I suggest those as an alternative. Unfortunately, they're much harder to find... and more expensive. |
